Today's offering showcases this classic and original Breitling "Top Time" chronograph. It has a great distinctive late '60's to early 70's retro look that is distinctive yet elegant.

The centerpiece of the watch is a beautiful so-called "Panda" dial with easy to read dial with contrasting black registers. Besides a classic look and "panda" black registers. The dial also features an outer tachometer ring to easily measure the speed of objects, done especially for aviation and auto racing uses.

The original case has Breitling factory applied texturing that is more pronounced in this model than on others. It is so deep it almost has a bark finish look.

Powering the watch is its original Breitling finished Valjoux 7730 movement with 45-minute timing system for recording of events.

At 37mm in diameter, its full size gold-filled and steel case fills out the wrist very nicely. And its tropical gold-filled top with steel back "tropical" design give it the look of a solid gold Breitling for a fraction of the cost.

It is honest original condition with original dial and all original hands. The only replacement parts are the winding crown and also the new crystal that we just installed.

Note that the crystal had a small smudge over the 45 minute register in a few photos that was wiped off before later photos. The register is mint.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It is keeping time within 15 seconds in all five chronometer positions, and the chronograph resets strongly and precisely to 12.

We have also installed a new mineral glass crystal to give a clear view of the tachometer scales to the very edge.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment. It would also look great a colored band or multi-colored NATO strap if you would like a more fashion forward style.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
