We are presenting this nice timepiece, a Laco Himalaya 42 MB Diver's automatic wristwatch, reference 862106.MB. 

This self-winding watch is powered by a Laco automatic Swiss movement caliber ETA 2824-2, featuring 25 jewels, a sweep-second hand, a date indicator, 38-hour power reserve, and 28,800 A/h for precision. Made in Germany. 

Encased in a 42mm stainless steel case with a black unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, it is protected by double domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has water resistance up to 30 ATM (984 feet, 30 bar, 300 meters). Screwed case back with scorpion relief, protected and screwed crown. 

"The "Scorpion" combines practical functionality with sophisticated looks. It fulfils its potential in a variety of different settings. From the mountains to the desert or tropical rainforests, this flexible sports watch is ready for daily use in outdoor environments. The names of the four models reflect its purpose, namely Himalaya, Amazonas, Atlantik and Mojave".

The analog display features a black dial, white Arabic Numerals, luminous baton hour markers, a white minute track, and matching luminous hands. The date indicator is located at 3 o'clock position. The dial is signed with the Laco name/logo on top and "Automatic 30ATM" on the bottom. 

It comes with the original stainless steel bracelet, it fits wrists up to 8" (20.3cm). 

This watch is in excellent condition, running smoothly and keeping precise time.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.  

The condition is pre-owned.
